Alopecia Areata
is an autoimmune disease that causes unpredictable hair loss. There is no cure for Alopecia Areata, however there are a variety of treatment options.
There are 7 known types of Alopecia Areata, the most common being Localized Alopecia Areata, Alopecia Totalis, and Alopecia Universalis.
Alopecia Areata can affect anyone at any age, often in life-altering ways.
