We welcome you to take part in a research study exploring the financial burden of living with alopecia areata in adults.
The purpose of this study is to better understand the direct and indirect costs associated with alopecia areata, including healthcare use, out-of-pocket expenses, time spent on care, and impacts on work, school, and daily life.
Findings from this research aim to inform future funding, policy, and support for individuals living with alopecia areata.
Participation involves a one-on-one interview lasting approximately 45 minutes, conducted virtually on Zoom. The interview will be audio-recorded with your permission. Participation is voluntary.
To be eligible, you must:
- Be 18 years of age or older
- Have a diagnosis of alopecia areata
There is no compensation for participation.
