You can help raise awareness.

Approximately 2% of the population is affected by alopecia areata at some point in their lifetime. However, many people are unaware of the significant impact it has on individuals and families. By spreading awareness of alopecia we can:

  • show our loved ones how they can best support us
  • reduce incidences of bullying in school
  • build more inclusive and informed communities
  • propel research towards a cure

Share Your Story

An essential part of our mission is to create change for those living with alopecia, by improving access to treatments, adequate health care, and communicating the impacts of this disease to those who make important decisions. When talking to decision-makers, they want to know what impact alopecia areata has on a life.

Who does it affect and in what ways?
How does it prevent you from living the life you want?

By sharing your story with us, we are better equipped to inform those in positions of power why your family, like many others, are in need of better support. Share your story below and help us make a difference.
