Edmonton Support Group

Participants: Adults, children, teenagers, parents/caregivers
Format: Online (Zoom)
Language: English
Dates: Four meetings per year
Group Leader: Kayla Hill (edmontonsupport@canaaf.org)
This group meets every six weeks for an informal afternoon of conversation and camaraderie.
  • Meetings are open to anyone who has alopecia, their families and friends, including children and siblings. Feel free to bring along someone for support.
  • If you have young children it may be helpful to bring along something to occupy them during prolonged stretches of adult conversation.
  • We encourage participants to bring along a snack or goodies to share.
  • We usually serve coffee, tea, and juice, contributed by volunteers.

To join this group, email Kayla at the address indicated above or visit the Edmonton Alopecia Support Group Facebook Page.

COVID-19 Update: The Edmonton Support Group is currently hosting meetings online. You can also join us virtually for our National Support Sessions which bring families together from across Canada.
