About CANAAF’s Annual Conference

CANAAF’s COME TOGETHER Conference is Canada’s largest support and awareness event for families impacted by Alopecia Areata.

Every summer, CANAAF holds the COME TOGETHER Conference, a National Awareness Event in Ontario. This weekend-long conference will connect you with a network of others who understand the challenges of alopecia areata. It is an opportunity to exchange ideas and receive support and advice from others within the CANAAF community.

COME TOGETHER is always held in July, however the location within Ontario differs year-to-year, along with the scheduled activities. The conference includes a variety of family activities as well as recreational and social events, support sessions, and medical updates. There are individual itineraries for each age group including supervised programming for kids and teens.

In July 2023, CANAAF held a successful Conference at the Crowne Plaza Niagara Falls – Fallsview in Niagara Falls, Ontario. Some highlights from the weekend included a Falls Fireworks Cruise, building community through support groups and workshops, an inspiring talk by Chi Nguyen, Finalist on The Great Canadian Baking Show , and our annual Dessert & Dance Party at the Hard Rock Club.
